A Fashion Street Grows In Anaheim

Anaheim is all about Disneyland and the Angels baseball team. Shopping? Not so much. Shaheen Sadeghi plans to change that.
Some history first. Sadeghi’s The Camp and The LAB specialty centers are well known for bringing hipster shopping to Costa Mesa, the home of South Coast Plaza and a lot of surf companies. He’s going to try to work the same kind of boutique neighborhood renewal project with the recently debuted Center Street Promenade development in Anaheim.
The burgeoning Center Street Promenade debuted recently with some similar boutiques and dining you’d find at The LAB and The Camp. I dropped by this district last week. Here’s a look at some of the street’s pioneers...
