The Globe showroom first bowed in New York in 2005. Founder Jeffrey Cayer’s concept was to house sales, design, product development and public relations in one beautiful space designed by Bruno Peutat. When Tracy Burton opened The Globe’s Los Angeles showroom in 2008, she continued Cayer’s mission in a lofty, nearly 6,000-square-foot space in the Lady Liberty Building.
Staffed by three people—Burton, Karen Spaulding and Britt Dahlgren—the West Coast showroom focuses on contemporary and young designer collections.
Among the collections showing at the Jan. 16–19 run of Los Angeles Fashion Market are Carolina K., San and Soni, ARO, Sam and Lavi, Kimberly Taylor, Smythe and Heartloom, as well as jewelry collections Lena Bernard, Glynneth B. and Nancy Caten.
