EM & Co. Store Moving to New Locale
Sure there are plenty of post-holiday super sales going on, but don't miss the one at EM Co., the stylish boutique on Third Street.
Owner Eveline Morel said she is moving to a new location, closing her doors this Saturday at the end of the day. So everything is priced to go.
The Romanian-born retailer is opening a new store after she has finished negotiating a new lease. Odds are the new store will be somewhere in Beverly Hills. "There are a lot of empty spaces available," she said, noting that retail rents are very negotiable.
No matter where the new location, Morel still plans to do art installations and fashion shows highlighting local talent. She has been doing those ever since she opened her 1,600-square-foot store six years ago at 7940 W. 3rd St.
Morel said many of the designer labels in her store are up to 90 percent off, and there are cash discounts. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. until closing on Jan. 7.
