Ready for the Fashion Blog Conference?

Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Monday by the beach talking about fashion.
Lucky Magazine is hosting its very first West Coast-oriented Fashion and Beauty Blog conference on April 30.
The one-day event takes place on the beaches of Santa Monica at the Annenberg Community Beach House - that swanky place that used to be the home of long ago actress Marion Davies. (Her heartthrob was newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst.)
The daylong conference will have panels with industry insiders and keynote speakers. Panel topics include "What Fashion Can Learn from Hollywood," "Turning Your Dream Into a Business," and "Working With Brands the Right Way."
Designer Zac Posen will start the event talking about the presence of social media and what bloggers mean to fashion. Randi Zuckerberg, older sister to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and former head of marketing at the website, will talk about using social media to build your business.
There will be celebrity chats with Elizabeth Banks, the actress who founded elizabethbanks.com and Jessica Alba, the actress who co-founded The Honest Company.
