New Execs at Dickies Girl
Apparel Limited, which makes clothes under the Dickies Girl label, has brought on two new top executives.
The Los Angeles–based company, which licenses the Dickies Girl label from Texas-based workwear company Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Co., has hired Carmine Esposito as its executive vice president of sales and Paul Boyea as its executive vice president of merchandising and marketing.
For 31 years, Esposito worked at Williamson-Dickie, most recently as the company’s senior vice president of sales.
Boyea was senior vice president at LF USA, a subsidiary of Li & Fung Ltd., a large sourcing company based in Hong Kong.Masud Sarshar, who founded Apparel Limited in the 1980s, said the new executives will help the company achieve “explosive growth” in the coming years.
Dickies Girl is designed for teen-agers and is sold to retailers such as Wal-Mart and Sears.—D.B.
