Macy's Embraces Pink Fashions to Join Fight Against Breast Cancer
INC International Concepts Long Sleeve Hooded Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Tee, created specially for Macy's, for October's Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Macy’s has joined up with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation once again to raise awareness and funds for October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Macy’s stores across the country are supporting the breast cancer awareness movement by offering special pink-themed apparel, cosmetics and home goods.
I.N.C. International Concepts and Ellen Tracy are two of the brands at Macy’s that are offering special apparel in support of the cause. INC has created three different shirts that will retail for $49.50, with five percent of the purchase going towards The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Ellen Tracy is debuting a new Love Yourself t-shirt, which will retail for $29.50 with 10 percent of the purchase price to be donated to the foundation.
The two brands, which also participated last year, were invited to design pieces that would resonate with all different types of Macy’s customers, said Deanna Williams, a spokesperson for Macy’s.
“From the fashionista who appreciates the ever-changing trends, to the cause advocate who wants to show her support for breast cancer awareness.”
Clinique, Coach, Estee Lauder and Aerosoles are also joining in with special edition breast cancer awareness creations to raise funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation during October.
Macy’s has been a supporter of the foundation for more than 10 years.
“Our partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation allows everyone from our vendors, employees and customers to get involved and join in the fight to finding the cure,” said Martine Reardon, executive vice president of Marketing for Macy’s.
