DWTS: Peace Out
(Metta World Peace and Peta Murgatroyd)
Well, last night was the first elimination round for “Dancing with the Stars.”
ANTICIPATION!
But first, let’s fill this hour with entertainment.
The professionals did an opening number that was choreographed by one of the female dancers, Lacey Schwimmer. Hot dance number. Lacey was a former contestant on “So You Think You Can Dance” a few seasons back.
Harry Connick Jr. performed. “On A Clear Day”, from his new Broadway show, “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.” The man is going to have to sing eight shows a week. Hope his "Sinatraesque" voice can handle it.
Now back to the elimination of the person with two left feet, which was one drawn-out process.
Unfortunately, it didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I thought that skinny Elisabetta Canalis (known as George Clooney’s former girlfriend) would be in jeopardy and taken out. But foolish me. I guess there are people out there who want to give her another chance.
So, therefore, it was between Metta World Peace (aka Lakers star Ron Artest) and talk show lady Nancy Grace. But we lost Metta World Peace. I don't think he really connected with the voting public, but the women liked his “dress like I wanna be Dennis Rodman” outfit.
It's the first time in the show’s 13 seasons that an athlete was the first person to be eliminated. Usually, they last a little bit longer or win.
Looking forward to seeing whose two left feet will be transformed. Until then, keep on dancing.
