Beverly Hills Goes Carnival for Fashion's Night Out
Rodeo Drive, the ritzy shopping thoroughfare in Beverly Hills, was closed to traffic and adopted a certain street fair vibe for Fashion's Night Out.
On one end of the street, a Ferris wheel towered over the Jimmy Choo store. Nearby, stilt walkers attired in carnival costumes interacted with shoppers and people out for a stroll. One stilt walker was even able to walk and juggle at the same time and not come crashing down on to the crowd.
Probably the busiest businesses that night were the food trucks that dotted the street. There was everything from the Greasy Wiener to Cool Haus, which served an unusual array of ice cream sandwiches.
The Juicy Couture store was hopping with customers nibbling samples of chocolate squares from Bottega Louie, the downtown L.A. eatery. Manicures were being given at the Guess store, which was also busy. And make-up and hairstyling was takiing place in front of the Coach store.
Believe it or not, a few people on this Fashion's Night Out were actually toting shopping bags filled with purchases from Fendi and Tod's.
