Alana Hale Spring 2012
Concept Los Angeles Fashion Week was in full swing on Oct. 14 at the ACE Gallery, with Alana Hale’s new Spring 2012 collection kicking off the evening.
Models with teased hair and eyes coated in thick black liner channeled the heat of the streets of St. Tropez in Hale’s Brigitte Bardot–inspired Spring preview. Colors were taken straight from the beaches of the French Rivera: pale mint green; bright crimson orange; and beige, ivory and gold.
Lace, chiffon and feathered tanks, tops, dresses and skirts paired with the highest of high heels in tan and black patent leather dominated the collection. Hale also played with mixing solids, sheer fabrics and animal prints.—Deidre CrawfordPhotos from the event can be found here.
