M.Fredric Debuts Santa Clarita, Calif., Store
Independent boutique chain M.Fredric threw a party on Oct. 18 to celebrate the opening of its new 3,200-square-foot store at The Patios at Westfield Valencia Town Center in Santa Clarita, which is located more than 35 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
Adam Levine, lead singer of Grammy Award–winning band Maroon 5 and a judge on talent show “The Voice,” made an appearance at the party to welcome the new store and also support his father, M.Fredric co-owner Fred Levine.
The store is the sixth location for the Agoura Hills, Calif.–based chain. It offers men’s, women’s and children’s fashion with a similar mix to other M.Fredric locations. Along with offering premium-denim brands, it is selling Hard Tail, Bailey 44, Hale Bob, Splendid, Ella Moss, 7 Diamonds, Flowers by Zoe, Alternative Apparel and Free People.
M.Fredric had been looking for real estate in the area for more than 15 years, Fred Levine said. “It is the perfect area for us—suburbs,” he said. “But until the outdoor patios were conceived by Westfield, there was not a perfect location in the area.” The Patios at Westfield Valencia Town Center opened in 2009.—Andrew Asch
