Vans' Offthewall.tv Hits the Small Screen

Last year, Vans launched Offthewall.tv, an online network for action sports, music and street culture. Now, the Cypress, Calif.–based action-sports footwear and apparel maker has taken the project mobile with the launch of the Off the Wall TV iPad app.

Developed by U-Dox International Creative Agency and available on iTunes, the free app allows users to sign up to receive information about new episodes and share information through Facebook, Twitter and email.

Offthewall.tv features original programming, including “Collaboratory,” a documentary series profiling designers and brands; “Crack and Shine,” which profiles graffiti artists; and “Pass the Bucket,” which covers the humanitarian efforts of action-sports athletes, artists, musicians and foundations. The site also features coverage from events such as the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and the Vans Warped Tour, as well as film releases, including the recent Vans surf film “Get-N-Classic.”—A.A.N.
