K-Swiss Gets New Apparel Man

K-Swiss, a footwear and apparel company based in Westlake Village, Calif., has named Michael Augustine as its director of apparel worldwide.Augustine will be reporting to Alden Sheets, the company’s president of worldwide apparel. Augustine’s duties will include overseeing design, development and merchandising for all the label’s inline performance apparel, global special makeup products and co-branded collections, which include Ironman, LA Marathon and Jillian Michaels, the celebrity trainer’s new label.“Michael comes to us with more than 20 years of apparel experience, and we believe that his roles as a designer, developer, product-line manager, merchandiser and director of product marketing will help to grow the K-Swiss business and worldwide presence,” Alden said in a statement.Most recently, Augustine was the owner of RoxyDogCreative, which offered brand packaging and marketing strategies to small and new businesses.
