Joe's Jeans Runs the Gamut on Style

Denim silhouettes are all over the place this year.

There's the skinny jean, the flaired jean, the boot-leg jean and the high-waisted trouser jean. But Los Angeles premium denim maker Joe's Jeans is covering its bases. It has introduced the "skinny micro flare" jean that combines the skinny jean look with a mini-flare at the bottom.

"We wanted to offer our girl who is still in love with her skinnies a modernized version of this '70s flair," said Joe Dahan, creative director of Joe's Jeans, which used to be called the Innovo Group when it sold jeans under other labels such as Shago by Bow Wow (in a deal with hip-hop star Lil Bow Wow) and Fetish (another deal with hip-hop star Eve.)

Right now the skinny micro flares are selling on the company's website, www.joesjeans.com, for $172 to $175 and at the company's retail outlets in Santa Monica, San Francisco, Chicago and Atlanta. But starting March 15, it will be stocked by Bloomingdale's. Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Ron Herman and Shopbop.com.

It's the perfect jean for the woman who can't make up her mind.
