Collette's Public Domaine tee designed for the "Public Domaine, Skateboard Culture" show in Paris.
Legendary French boutique Collette is paying homage to California style and skate culture in honor of the exhibition "Public Domaine, Skateboard Culture" showing June 18 to August 7 at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris.
A graphic tee, a new line of Etnies and illustrated skateboard decks by Vincent Alvarez, Ed Templeton and Jeron Wilson are some of the items being sold at the famously chic store.
The "Ed Templeton" skate deck for Collette.
"No Skateboarding" photographer Mathias Fennetaux held an in-store signing, peddling his book of portraits of skateboarding legends Tony Alva, Tony Hawk and the like, and artist and skateboarder Benjamin Chasselon recently showed a series of paintings in the store’s windows.
Seems the French would agree that America’s greatest export is its culture – c’est cool!
