Guess?'s Maurice Marciano to Retire in 2012
Maurice Marciano, whose family founded Los Angeles–based denim lifestyle line Guess? Inc., is retiring in early 2012. Marciano, who currently serves as chairman of the board of directors, plans to retire when his employment agreement expires on Jan 28, 2012. He will continue to serve as non-executive chairman of Guess’ board of directors. Marciano and his brothers founded Guess in 1981. Over the years, he has served as chief executive officer, co-CEO, chairman and co-chairman of the board. After his retirement, Marciano will continue to provide counsel and advice to the company’s other senior executives.
