Timberland Bought By VF
VF Corp. inked a deal to buy footwear maker Timberland Co. for $43 per share—a total of nearly $2 billion. Greensboro, N.C.–based VF has a portfolio of brands that includes The North Face, Vans, 7 For All Mankind, Lee, JanSport, John Varvatos, Reef, Lucy, Ella Moss and Splendid.
