Not leather, but luxe--Danielle Nicole
It’s Los Angeles Fashion Market and during my travels around the Fashion District, I dropped by The New Mart showroom for Isabella Fiore and Carlos Falchi to meet the newest member of the family under the Artisan House umbrella.
The very bubbly Danielle DiFerdinando walked me through her Danielle Nicole collection of handbags. DiFerdinando first launched her collection six years ago using leathers but recently switched to non-leather materials to offer her customers a luxe look at a more forgiving price--$49 to $130 retail. Nordstrm and Dillard's carry the collection and DiFerdinando recently showcased the line on HSN.

But that wasn’t the only news in the showroom—Isabella Fiore recently launched a line of luggage. The first collection includes two groups—the feminine Vintage Lace group and the South Hampton Collection in smart stripes. Each piece comes packed with handy inside pockets and coordinating interior bags. Nieman Marcus picked up the South Hampton group in a custom turquoise colorway.
