California Market Center Celebrates Market Week With Events
At the California Market Center, a number of events mark Los Angeles Fashion Market, which runs June 13–16.
The CMC hosts its “F2 Runway Show” at noon on June 13 in the building’s penthouse. Participating lines include Zuur Jeans, Annie & Jade by Annie Le, Jewel Wraps, Liiu Jackets, TylerKim, Pouch The Versatile Dress and Lina Mendoza.
That evening, the building is organizing an opening-night cocktail party from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the CMC lobby. Registered retailers and industry guests can enjoy a sponsored bar, appetizers and a live DJ performance by Annette Lamothe-Ramos, fashion editor of Vice magazine.
Buyers looking for a break from visiting showrooms can stop by the Oliver Ifergan Pop-Up Salon in suite B579 for hair touchups that include a blow dry or trim. The salon is open noon to 5 p.m. June 13–15.
In addition, buyers visiting the Select Contemporary Tradeshow, running June 13–15 in the CMC’s Fashion Theater, can enjoy the Select lounge, featuring morning coffee, fresh pastries, coconut water and mud-mask facials.
On June 14, Pop Beauty is offering on-the-go manicures at the Select show as well as at the Focus Apparel & Accessories Show in the penthouse from noon to 4 p.m.—Deborah Belgum
