Top It Off: DIY Hats

Arts space Machine Project Los Angeles hosts perverse and often baffling events like building a forest in its office, group naps and musical performances composed from tomato-growing data. Its next (fashion-related) workshop is no disappointment: Exploration of Millinery: Sculptural Straw Hats Class with hatter Corina Haywood on July 30-31.
Class description says you will make a “one-of-a-kind hat using natural woven straw material and an assortment of trim materials.” We snoozed on this and now its already sold out. But they are taking waiting list names! Impatient naked heads can check out Corina Haywood’s Etsy shop here.
