Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Kicks Off in South Beach
Miami Swim Week kicked off last night with poolside parties, runway shows and Kristin Cavallari wearing the world’s first glass bikini.

Diesel opened Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim with its Cruise 2012 collection featuring denim inspired swimwear, eye popping brights and high-tech board shorts. This was the brand’s second time opening the event and an opportunity to celebrate its free-spirited “Only For The Brave” lifestyle.
Cavallari of “Hills” fame closed the show along with models wearing a capsule collection designed by Diesel and inspired by SKYY Vodka’s iconic cobalt blue glass bottle.
Following the show attendees celebrated at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim opening night bash held at the Raleigh’s iconic art deco pool. Cavallari and SKYY co-hosted the party with music by celebrity DJ Jessica Szohr.
Designers, models and show producers sipped cocktails to fete the Cruise 2012 season. There was plenty to chat about with four nights of runway shows ahead.
