Salvation,Lanvin to Debut at Malibu Village

Renovation of Malibu Village retail center mostly wrapped up last month, just in time for some high profile stores to move into the retail center adjacent to the Malibu Country Mart. Both retail compounds are located across the street from the beach in Malibu, Calif.
On July 1, Nike Inc.’s Salvation store debuted at 3854 Cross Creek Road in Malibu Village.The more than 4,000-square-foot store will sell Hurley, Converse, and Nike brands footwear and apparel. Nike also runs a Salvation store in the Irvine Spectrum retail center in Irvine Calif.
In a leap across the fashion spectrum, there will be a new store for the high fashion set at this retail center. In late July, French fashion house Lanvin will debut a more than 600-square-foot boutique at Malibu Village, according to Jay Luchs, a partner for Malibu Village as well as the leasing agent for the retail center.The new Lanvin store will be located adjacent to the retail center's Missoni boutique.
The mix of the high fashion, street looks and service storeswill be key to Malibu Village’s eclectic style said Pouya Abdi, a partner with the center’s development company Retail Holdings Group.
“We want to have something for everybody, whether it is someone looking for something fancy, a guy who just finished surfing, or a local running an errand,” Abdi said.
