Calling All Aspiring Stylists: Polyvore and Rebecca Minkoff Want You
Social fashion website Polyvore and designer Rebecca Minkoff are teaming up for a contest that puts Polyvore members’ sartorial skills to the test.
Polyvore’s “Style the Rebecca Minkoff Runway” contest is looking for users’ most stylish creations featuring Minkoff’s Spring 2011 collection along with the Polyvore x Rebecca Minkoff “Dee” clutch. (The bag was a winning design by a Polyvore member from a previous contest and will hit stores in March.)
One winning look will be personally selected by Minkoff, and the winner will be whisked off to New York City for the ultimate Fashion Week experience—assisting Minkoff in styling her fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.
The winning stylist will also get to come out from behind the curtain and sit in the audience for a runway-view of the looks at the Feb. 11 presentation.
Members will present their submissions in Polyvore’s digital collages called “sets.” The contest runs until Jan. 24.
