Fashion Market Northern California Sets Sunday Opening
Summer begins on a Sunday for Fashion Market Northern California, which hosts its Summer 2011 market Jan. 30–Feb. 1 at the San Mateo Event Center in San Mateo, Calif.
To better accommodate buyers who prefer to shop market on the weekend, the show opens on a Sunday and runs through Tuesday.
The show features everything from juniors to contemporary to updated merchandise, including European collections and accessories.
The show’s organizers, the Golden Gate Apparel Association, have lined up several buyer amenities, including a reduced rate at the nearby Marriott hotel (for rooms booked by Jan. 16), a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the convention center, free breakfast, discounted lunch, and cookies and snacks throughout the day.
