Executive Shift at TJX
Carole Meyrowitz will remain chief executive officer of Framingham, Mass.–based TJX Cos. Inc. after the board of directors approved a new management structure for the company, which runs TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores. Meyrowitz’s contract was renewed for another two years. The company also promoted Ernie Herrman from senior executive vice president and group president to president of The TJX Companies. Nan Stutz was promoted from president of the HomeGoods division to senior executive vice president and group president of HomeGoods and TJX Canada. And Michael MacMillan was promoted from president of The Marmaxx Group to senior executive vice president of the division, which includes Marshalls and TJ Maxx stores. TJX operates more than 2,700 stores under the T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Winners, HomeSense and Stylesense nameplates.
