New Digs for Rachel Zoe & Scoop

Fashion guru and reality show star Rachel Zoe recently signed a deal to open a showroom and headquarters close to the store of her BFF Marc Jacobs, said Jay Luchs, the CBRE executive VP who brokered the deal.
Rachel Zoe’s new digs will be located at 15,000-square-feet, or two floors of great real estate, at 8380 Melrose Ave. It’s located by the Marc Jacobs store at 8400 Melrose Place, which happened to be the shop which pioneered the Melrose Place fashion land rush years ago.
Rachel Zoe’s company did not reply to an email asking for comment by press time.
In other real estate news, New York-specialty shop Scoop NYC is in possession of a 2,500-square-foot spot at 216 26th Ave. close to the Brentwood Country Mart, said Luchs who brokered that deal too. It will be Scoop’s first shop on the West Coast. It is tentatively scheduled to open in the Spring.
