LA Designers to New York Fashion Week
A look from Tadashi Shoji's Fall 2011 collection
The global fashion season is about to begin with New York Fashion Week the kick-off event, taking place Sept. 8-15.
The runway in the Big Apple is looking pretty congested with New York designers, but there are a few Los Angeles creative types returning to unveil their Spring 2012 collections.
Among the L.A. set is Monique Lhuillier, always elegant, and Tadashi Shoji, who has been busy creating a lot of off-the-shoulder gowns that are incredibly sophisticated Returning again this season is Max Azria and his two labels, Herve Leger by Max Azria and BCBGMaxAzria.
From the New York side, designers lining up for a promenade down the catwalk at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week include Diane von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Elie Tahari, Ralph Lauren, Custo Barcelona, Carolina Herrera, Rebecca Minkoff, Donna Karan, Betsey Johnson, Narciso Rodriguez, Nicole Miller and many many others.
