Monah Li Strikes Out On Own--Now on Sunset

The story of Monah Li never really ends.
On July 25, California Apparel News/Trade Talk ran a blog on how this talented designer with deep roots in Los Angeles fashion jumped back into the schmatte game after a two-year break. During that time she completed a screenplay about, what else? L.A. fashion. Independent film house Blanc Biehn Productions is scheduled to produce Li’s "Fashion Slaves" this fall.
And earlier this week, Li called to say that she opened a boutique which will be entirely devoted to Monah Li dresses and tops. It is located at 1282 ½ Sunset Blvd, nearby the headquarters of L.A. fashion company Blood Is The New Black.
Monah said she pays around $850 each month for the 400-square-foot boutique. “It’s still affordable,” she said of her new neighborhood. “It’s amazing.”
