JewelMint Gets Physical
JewelMint's Cher Coulter with Satine's Jeannie Lee
JewelMint is a creature of the Internet. But the 10-month-old e-commerce jewelry boutique tested the waters of the physical world July 29 when it produced its first brick and mortar pop-up shop at the Satine boutique on Los Angeles’ stylish West Third Street.
The JewelMint shop was produced for a mere four hours, but avid shoppers of the e-commerce site seemed thrilled to be given the chance to see JewelMint’s wares in a physical space, and also to meet the site’s stylist Cher Coulter. Los Angeles resident Norby Tobilla said the site expanded her fashion horizons. “I buy clothes to fit the jewelry,” she said.
Coulter curates the site’s merchandise with actress Kate Bosworth. JewelMint is part of the family of vertical e-commerce shops owned and run by BeachMint based in Santa Monica. The company's StyleMint site debuted in April, and is curated by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. More verticals will debut later this year. Stay tuned.
