O'Neill Hires Action-Sports Veteran
Sasha Hartloff has joined O’Neill Clothing as the new girls’ sales manager for the swimwear and activewear categories. At her new post, Hartloff will report to Steve Ward, O’Neill’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, and oversee the O’Neill girls’ regional sales teams and lead distribution efforts for both divisions. Key focuses will be the national retail expansion of O’Neill’s new Superkini, which has 200 percent more grip than a standard bikini, as well as the launch of a Spring 2012 collection collaboration with Elyse Taylor, the Aussie model who has been tapped as the brand’s global ambassador.
An action-sports veteran, Hartloff was a key account manager for Hurley and has worked at Quiksilver, Roxy Athletix and Raisins Swimwear.
quot;We are confident that Sasha will excel in this important leadership role for O’Neill during an exciting time for the brand,quot; Ward said in a statement. quot;Her previous experience in product launches and account management will be invaluable for sales efforts as we forge ahead with our growing girls’ business.quot;
