Apparel to Haiti

In an effort to help Haiti recover from a devastating 7.0 earthquake earlier this year, U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton signed an agreement on Sept. 20 in New York that will lead the way for Sae-A Trading to build new garment factories employing 10,000 people. Sae-A Trading, a large South Korean apparel manufacturer with big factories in Central America and elsewhere that supply Wal-Mart, Target and Gap, will build the factories on one of two sites its is evaluating in Haiti.
