Binn in at Gilt
New York–based flash-sale e-tailer Gilt Groupe Inc. named Ocean Drive founder Jason Binn as the chief adviser to chairman Kevin Ryan. Binn, who is the chief executive officer and founder of Niche Media, will be consulting with Gilt on the company’s women’s, men’s, children’s and home businesses, as well as its travel and local services divisions.
