L.A. Fashion Week Spring 2011: Beach Bunny Swimwear
Irvine, Calif.–based Beach Bunny Swimwear trotted its sexy swimwear out on Oct. 13 for a show at Hollywood nightclub Colony. The party atmosphere proved to be a fitting backdrop for the bedazzled, lingerie-inspired collection, which made its debut this summer during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami.
The suits—bedecked in sparkles, lace, metallic snake print and spiked with a dose of rock ’n’ roll edge—are better suited for poolside lounging in Las Vegas than hanging ten in Malibu. Some of the glammed-up and teeny-tiny suits on the runway were part of a collaboration with reality-TV starlets and retailers Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.—Erin Barajas
