L.A. Fashion Week Spring 2011: A. Cheacute;
As a swimmer, Amanda Cheacute; believes suits should be practical but flatter the body.
That was seen on the runway Oct. 15 during the first night of fashion shows at the Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. Cheacute;’s collection featured a mix of bright solids and vibrant fabrics that looked like animal prints gone tropical.
Cheacute; injected a touch of lingerie know-how with molded bra cups that provided ample support and flattered the body.
The collection, which used Italian fabric, had a good supply of two-piece bikinis. One-piece suits had off-the shoulder looks, cut-out midriffs or monokini silhouettes.
Predominant colors were bright reds, blacks, Mediterranean blues, fuchsias and oranges.—Deborah Belgum
