Gilt Shifts
New York–based flash-sale site Gilt Groupe Inc. shifted two of its executive positions. Susan Lyne, the company’s former chief executive officer, has become chairman, and former chairman Kevin Ryan will become chief executive officer. “This change will enable Susan to focus on new markets and businesses, key partnership and strategic opportunities, while I focus on the day-to-day operational side of the business,” Ryan said in a statement. Gilt Group launched in 2007. Gross revenue this year is expected to exceed $400 million.
