Kaboodle, 80s Purple Give Back for the Holidays
Today, Huntington Beach, Calif.–based e-tailer 80s Purple and Sunnyvale, Calif.–based social shopping site Kaboodle are teaming up for a giveaway for a $500 gift card to shop for merchandise on the 80s Purple website, which sells goods from hip brands such as Wildfox Couture, Hellz, Grey Ant and Dolce Vita.
It’s all part of Kaboodle’s Wish-A-Day Giveaway in which the social networking site joins a retail partner in a daily giveaway from now until Dec. 24. Kaboodle users can enter the giveaways by adding a product from the day’s participating retailer to their Kaboodle lists.
“For the retailers, Wish-a-Day encourages people to add products from a participating retailer’s site to their Kaboodle lists,” said Kaboodle Chief Marketing Officer Shari Gunn. “As a result, we see an increase in the volume of products from our partners being added to the site, more products being shared and discovered throughout the community, and often we also see a lift in the volume of online sales that Kaboodle drives.”
Upcoming giveaways will include retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Karmaloop, Bebe, Shopbop, ModCloth and JCPenney.
