Lifestyle brand BB Dakota is getting into the footwear business with a new shoe collection that launches for Holiday 2010. Gloria and Katherine Brandes are the mother-and-daughter duo behind the label, which is based in Costa Mesa. They are designing their own shoes, which have a feminine silhouette with masculine detailing. The 12 styles range from wedges and cutout heels to flats and oxfords. The shoes will be sold in department stores and specialty boutiques with retail prices ranging from $80 to $250.
