L.A. Fashion Week Fall '10: White Trash Beautiful

L.A. Fashion Weekend kicked off on March 19 with the runway debut of White Trash Beautiful, a collaboration between Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora and designer Nikki Lund.

The rock-chic collection featured plenty of leather and leather-friendly looks in a rock-somber palette of black, brown, silver, red and animal print. Highlights included leather jackets that came in black or distressed brown leather. A black and silver shrug was made from a fabric that looked like a topographic map. Jackets were embellished with a giant silver spider that appeared to crawl over the model’s shoulder. And the finale gown was a short gown with a long ruffled train.

The show also featured the runway debut of Ava Sambora, the 12-year-old daughter of Richie Sambora and actress Heather Locklear.—Alison A. Nieder
