BOXeight's Fashion: Refocus - Day 1
Skingraft photographed by Ben Cope
Industry insiders and the hipster set were out in full force to get a behind-the-scenes look at fashion photography as BOXeight kicked off its second edition of “Fashion: Refocus." The event which takes place from March 19 to 21 includes a series of live photo installations.
This season BOXeight collaborated with L.A. Models and Los Angles Confidential magazine to create an artistic take on Fashion Week. Photographers including Ben Cope, Steve Laura Duncan, Adam Secore and Peter Gurnz will be shooting the Fall 2010 collections of 14 of L.A.’s talented designers. Funktional, Skingraft, Eduardo Lucero, Les Sang Des Betes, Gold Spun and Isabel Lu are just a few on the schedule. Photographs from the event will be featured in an upcoming edition of Los Angeles Confidential magazine.
Last night’s event ranged from the dark gothic tinged looks of Skingraft shot by Ben Cope to the clean yet edgy look captured by Adam Secore for the denim-based Gold Spun collection. Here are a few behind-the-scenes shots. Be sure to check back for more coverage from each night of the event.
