Whether its the mother of the bride, older or younger sister of the bride, or party guests of the bride, the dresses made by Adrianna Papell Group can outfit women of any age.

The New York–based company also makes ready-to-wear clothing, but its hallmark is providing stylish, on-trend special-occasion dresses at budget-conscious prices.

“We were extremely successful during the recession,” said Charles Pegram, senior vice president of international alliances/creative director for Adrianna Papell Group. Women “still want a beautiful dress” for cocktail parties, weddings, galas, proms and winter formals, and Adrianna Papell offers “affordable luxury,” Pegram said.

There are four brands under the Adrianna Papell Group umbrella. The Adrianna Papell Day line includes sophisticated day dresses that can transition from the office to a cocktail party and retail for $105–$190. Formal gowns in the Adrianna Papell Evening line retail for $100–$295. The company’s young contemporary line, Hailey Logan, retails for $79–$199 and is targeted toward the high-school teen looking for a trendy prom dress or party frock.

The company’s higher-end contemporary line, Aidan Mattox, offers finer handwork details, richer embellishments and premium fabrications and retails for $250–$500. “It’s all about fit. Everything’s cut at the right spot to make those really clean, smooth lines,” Pegram said.—Rhea Cortado
