L.A.'s Turn on the Runway Begins This Week

Los Angeles’ turn on the catwalk kicks off this week. L.A. Fashion Week will celebrate the City of Angels’ design talent with a number of events and presentations happening around town.
Designers showing in the forthcoming days include Gen Art alums Eduardo Lucero, Elmer Ave., Erik Hart, Grey Ant, Jared Gold, Endovanera, Jeffrey Sebelia, Jovovich-Hawke, Katy Rodriguez, Louis Verdad, Rami Kashou and Society for Rational Dress gathering together for a reunion at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
Sue Wong will be previewing her Fall 2010 collection at her design studio.
Special events also include a second installment of “Meet the Designers Their Muse” with James Galanos and presented by Fashion Group International Los Angeles and the “110 Years of Fashion: How Vintage Inspires 21st Century Trends,” panel discussion and opening-night reception at the California Market Center.
There will be plenty of collections being shown at BOXeight Fashion:Refocus, LA Fashion Weekend, Concept LA Fashion Week, Project Ethos, Directives West’s FIRST.LA and more.
