Columbia Calling
Columbia Sportswear Co., the outdoor-apparel and footwear brand based in Portland, Ore., inked a deal with Woburn, Mass.–based Demandware to launch a mobile commerce application. The new storefront, located at www.columbia.com/mobile, will connect shoppers to Columbia’s e-commerce site from their mobile devices. The mobile site also allows shoppers to locate a nearby store that sells Columbia products using a smartphone’s GPS.
