Rodriguez Teams With Nordstrom

Los Angeles–based designer Robert Rodriguez and Seattle-based Nordstrom are teaming up for a limited-edition shirt designed by Rodriguez, which will be sold at 38 Nordstrom stores and online at www.nordstrom.com Sept. 15–Oct. 15. The partnership was struck to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and all after-cost proceeds from the sale of the shirt will benefit Mana’s Hermanitas, a program that assists Latina adolescents. Rodriguez, who is Cuban-American, designed a piece that has a draped silhouette, black-lace overlay and feather embellishment. The shirt will sell for $225.
