Puma Goes Pink
Athletic footwear and apparel maker Puma launched a new initiative and product line to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. Launched in partnership with Women’s Professional Soccer, Puma’s Project Pink enlists several professional women’s soccer players in special Project Pink kits for five WPS matches. Project Pink merchandise is also for sale now through October (“Breast Cancer Awareness Month”). A portion of sales will be donated to a breast-cancer nonprofit. The nonprofit will be determined based on a national online voting campaign. Puma is based in Herzogenaurach, Germany, and its North American headquarters are in Westford, Mass.
