Miami Swim Week Cruise 2011: Inca
Inca celebrated Cruise 2011 with an intimate dinner and tribal-themed fashion show on July 16 at The Setai hotel in South Beach.
A tribal duet and fire dancers kicked off the event with an interactive performance that transported guests to the collection’s Incan roots. The party-like atmosphere culminated in a dramatic runway presentation which was displayed on oversized projection screens. Even with all the on-stage drama, designer Stacy Josloff presented her boho collection with a modern sophistication. The suits in a palette of orange, green, lavender, gray and black came in plenty of body conscious cuts with bold embellishments such as studding and fringe. The collection included a mix of swim and beachwear such as black one-piece with fringed deacute;colletage, a gray studded bandeau paired with silky pants and a nude lace dress that was nothing short of bohemian chic.—N.
