Texworld USA Adds Domestic Mills to New York Trade Show
This year, five domestic mills are planning to exhibit for the first time at the upcoming Texworld USA.
The textile show, which runs Jan. 19–21 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, is also seeing three domestic mills return to the exhibition floor, joining the more than 140 companies scheduled to attend. All eight domestic mills will be featured in the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion.
“I think they all want to give it a shot,” Tricia Carey, merchandising manager for Lenzing Fibers Inc., said of the five new additions. “It’s part of the overall plan of putting 2008 and 2009 behind us.”
The five new domestic mills will be Fessler USA in Orwigsburg, Penn.; Laguna Fabrics/Environ Fabrics in Los Angeles; Manoir Inc. in Quebec, Canada; Mansfield Textile Inc. in Vernon, Calif.; and Tuscarora Yarns in Mt. Pleasant, N.C.
The three domestic mills returning to the show are Buhler Quality Yarns Corp. USA in Jefferson, Ga.; Design Knits Inc. in Los Angeles; and Pacific Coast Knitting Inc. in Huntington Park, Calif.
