ecVision Introduces Develop Module
Iselin, N.J.–based ecVision recently introduced a new product-development module in its XpressCommerce software suite for retailers and brands.
The Develop module was designed to assist in product, material and vendor management by giving the user master data tables that allow for collaboration between vendors and factories throughout the lifecycle. Through design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, product information can be imported into XpressCommerce, allowing key information such as retail design, costing and sampling to be accessible via a Web-based solution.
The module allows users to create tech packs and access trim information, bill of materials, size breakdowns, colorway information and construction details. Users can verify component costs down to the material and trim levels.
The company unveiled the new Develop module at the National Retail Federation’s recent Annual Convention and Expo in New York and plans to include the new module in XpressCommerce version 9.2, set for release this month.
