Dickson Named CEO of Jones Branded Biz
New York–based Jones Apparel Group Inc. named Richard Dickson president and chief executive officer of branded business. The company also announced that Wesley Card’s title will change from president and chief executive to simply chief executive. Dickson will report to Card and will oversee Jones’ wholesale and retail business worldwide. Dickson has extensive industry experience, most recently as general manager and senior vice president at Barbie for Mattel Inc. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of marketing, media and entertainment worldwide for Mattel Brands. His career also includes stints at Bloomingdale’s and Esteacute;e Lauder Co.
