Promotions at Aeropostale
New York–based retail chain Aeropostale Inc. named three new management appointments. The company’s president, Michael J. Cunningham, will expand his responsibilities to include planning and allocation, construction, logistics, and real estate. He currently oversees finance organization, investor relations and information technology for the company. Marc D. Miller, currently senior vice president of strategic planning and new business development, has been named chief financial officer. Mary Jo Pile, currently Aeropostale’s senior vice president and chief stores officer, has been named executive vice president of customer engagement. In her new job, she will take on additional responsibilities over marketing, including e-commerce, in addition to her existing responsibilities over all store operations. Aeropostale currently operates 908 stores in 49 states and Puerto Rico and 59 stores in Canada. The company also operates 47 P.S. From Aeropostale stores in 13 states.
