Storm Troopers Turn Sexy
You should never let freezing weather stop you from going out in your underwear.
Obviously the women of Body Wrap Shapewear weren't given the daily weather report for New York City when they walked down this Manhattan avenue a few days ago in temperatures that hovered around the mid-20s. They were part of a guerrilla marketing campaign for Body Wrap's bodyshaper that is guaranteed to make you look sleeker for those holiday parties.
Part of the company's hype was that their new Sheer Iridesscents by Body Wrap will even help you get past the dreaded airport full-body scanners. The shapewear helps iron out all all those bumps and lumps.
However, Emily Blasi, a spokesperson for the company, told me the shapewear won't really keep the security guards from getting a good look at you. Nor will it keep you very warm. But it makes a nice picture of storm troopers making their way through the Big Apple dressed in red and on the prowl.
