Material Girl Heads North
New York–based Iconix Group Inc. struck an international licensing deal with Hudson’s Bay Co. for its Material Girl apparel and accessories line. The Material Girl Collection will land in all 91 Hudson’s Bay stores across Canada in spring 2011. This is the first international license for Material Girl, launched last year in a partnership between Madonna and Iconix under the name MG Icon. The collection debuted at Macy’s stores in August.
